We had problem with MUVI1 (pre serie 1) not working properly when a telescope was pluggeg (but fine otherwise).
Charles Houarner changed the card to MUVI serie 5, and the card is now working. |

12Th June. 3-peak Alpha source rotated towards the telescopes MM1 to MM4 (square wall of 4 telescopes).
MUVI configurations are fixed on the DAS. See pictures below. Thresholds : 402 keV.
We have DAS error messages for telescopes T2 and T7 with problems of data transmission, "I2C errors" = logic signals problems, maybe due to
bad cable connection inside the reaction chamber.
This problem should be fixed on 13th June looking at the cables in the chamber.
GMT trigger configuration: see picture, all telescopes T1 T3 T4 T5, T6 and T8.
T2 and T7 not included in the trigger inputs.
FAG window : 500 ns; Validation width 5.0 µs.
We can see the three peaks on the telescopes T1 T3 and T4 which are in the trigger (spectra taken during 30 minutes for checking).
T6 (in the trigger also) is placed at 90 deg and it can detect also some alphas. |

It appears several SL cables are faulty.
To avoid manipulation of all the cable we now have T1-4 working. These required to scavenge SL T5 and give it to T2.
T5 is working but have no SL cables.
T7 and T8 have faulty SL cables; but has not been fully tested otherwise.
We are meeting with the cable lady (maude) this afternoon to see if she can check the cables and repair them.
CsI T6 still an issue
UPDATE: Cable send to ASCO company for repair. T6 fixed. |

The GMT is used in a mode where we do not make coincidence and decision, GMT entries are single and all accepted as triggers of the DAQ.
The FAG window for the GMT should be set at a low value, typically 100 ns. |

EXL ADC is now setup with individual gate on the ADC.
We also put the threshold higher to reduce the rate and managed to work on timing.
We still think we need to delay the trigger output from the Mesytec module so the GMT is not triggered too soon.
However its appears that the trigger arrive 40-60us before the signal. Not sure if the AI output of the ADC is working properly, need to check this with Fred.
After checking the signal on the scope out of the MSC16 everything is in time. |

We setup a script to start the right environment to run GRU, ganil2root and nptool.
The script is located in /home/muvi/e748 and can be accessed by just typing online in the terminal.
This will start bash and source the relevant files.
Online and offline GRU script are located in the /home/muvi/e748/nptool/Projects/e748/online and /home/muvi/e748/nptool/Projects/e748/offline respectively.
The GUser class in both folder need to be compiled using the provide Makefile (so just do make after editing the GUser.cxx and GUser.h).
To start the GRU spectra server for online go to the online folder and type GRU Online.cxx
To convert a single file from .dat to .root go to the offline folder and type GRU Offline.cxx |

- Provide two separates script for starting Online and Offline environment, that goes directly to the right folder. : Done
- Make an Offline program instead of a script, so we can provide argument : Done bu Valerian and Adrien
- Make a bash script for automatic conversion of the runs : Done by Valerian
