cf current of T4 to be checked regularly. At present with the beam the current is around 10.5 µA (fluctuates between 9 and 11 µA) for HV set at 60 V.
Beam rate is reduced at the end of the run, around 4000-5000 pps.
The machine operators are trying to recover the initial rate.
Next run (2113) will be started in the low rate conditions.

Between 21h37 and 22h. Beam intensity from 4000 pps increasing around 7. 10**4 pps then down to 800 pps, fluctuating fastly.
Machine operators are trying to compensate the fluctuations.

cf current of T4 around 9.4 µA (fluctuates between 9 and 10 µA) for HV set at 60 V. Strong increase around 13 µA during a few minutes.

Between 23h10 and 23h20 the beam rate was evolving from 80-88k to 90-100 k and the current was fluctuating in T4 from 8.8 to 9.9 µA.
Beam rate is reduced at the beginning of the run, around 4000-5000 pps. See Scalers_Run2113initAt21h39.png
Then around 60k pps at 21h46; at 77k pps at 21h52, at 98k pps at 22h06 but very unstable and then down to 30kcps.

Between 2h48 and 2h50 beam was decresaing down to few 1000/s on CATS, due to some alarms on the beam line, slowly increasing again after 2h52.
cf current of T4 around 13-14 µA Strong increase around 13 µA (due to the stabilization of the beam rate at 10**5 pps !)

NB: The E_TOF plots for MM1 and MM3 seem to count less than the MM2 and MM4 plots, nearly factor 10 below for MM1, and factor 5 below for MM3.
But the raw spectra for StrXT of MM1 and MM3 have quite the same statistics (see integral values) maybe some software problems.
Check how the TOF parameter is done in the offline (from XT or YT +thresholds and pattern conditions).
The same behaviour was seen in the previous runs.

Ongoinge744 Wed May 30 01:30:34 2018 ValerianOFFLINEGeneralCH2Checking the T4
After checking every telescope, it seems that the calibration of T4 is very off, I think that for now, it might be a good thing to consider this telescope out of the analysis ?
Ongoinge744 Wed May 30 03:09:09 2018 Valérie, LouisRUNGeneralCH2BEAM LINE PROBLEMS, alarm "water leakage"
The beam was stopped at 4h56, due to the alarm of "water leakage" on equipments, indicated in the D6 area.
All QPole in D6 were automatically put to 0.
Wien filter and DAP were put OFF to stop the beam and enter in the D6 area.
Between 5h and 5h30 PCP investigated the problem along the D3 and D6 areas, to check the water leakage problem indicated by the control command messages.
Since the problem could not be solved directly on the command boxes in PCP, it was not possible to put again the values on the QPoles.
then the area astreinte, Sébastien Le Moal, was called at 5h40.
At 6h15, he investigated the problem and check the cables in the D6 area. He saw some water condensation around the cable surveyor of the equipment (located behind the cooling system of MUST2).

Night/morning shift team: Louis Valérie.

[NB: in order to let them end up their night quietly, we will call later on the LISE experts for the beam line checking once the Qpoles are ready to put ON again.]

The T4 was increasing, from 16µA at 5h, then around 17 µA at 5h40 (see snapshot HT_MUST2_Wed30May_At5h52.png) we decided to put it OFF to let it end the night quietly.

Ongoinge744 Wed May 30 13:48:02 2018 PhilDAQGeneralN/APulser values
Here's a list of pulser values taken from the last few runs as a reference for what rate the "100-Hz" pulser is actually seeing.

All rates in Hz.

29 May:

6h52 62
9h36 96
9.39 96
10.35 50

30 May
12.15 76
12.16 84
3.01 48
3.21 96
3.27 48
4.57 48
7.15 48
8.39 48
9.26 48
9.33 66
11.35 48
1.29 48

Rate was 48 Hz when the run was stopped due to loss of beam (I looked but didn't take a picture).

I don't know if this problem is caused by the scaler counting behaving oddly but that seems like a more obvious solution than the pulser frequency randomly changing. If the pulser is actually vital for the experiment, someone should look in the offline data to see what's happening.
