We analysed run 104 to check the correlation of events coded in different crates. It is clear now that the events from the MUST2 crate are shifted by +1 with respect to the CHIO crate.
On the following plot, parameters coded in the two different crates (MUST2 and CHIO) are displayed :

An interview of Th, Seb and Georges by Valérie on July 3rd.
Please indicate complements or corrections on this summary of the ionization chamber situation.
We list here the problems during the last days and the solution adopted to recover it...
The ionization chamber was not running. now it works with a modification of the capacitor connexion (see scheme +oscilloscope vizualization)
Two registered problems (for the moment, Ndlr Vlx):
I. The cables for the ChIo voltages were inverted.
First time inside the Chamber. On Thursday evening, signals with the Alpha source were correct but it appeared that
the output voltages were not correctly set.
This was solved on Friday 30th June opening the chamber and connecting again correctly INSIDE the chamber.
Secondly: it was seen today 3rd that the cables are not properly connected OUTSIDE the chamber,
they were inverted again between Anode and grid. Preamplis were burnt out.
On 4 available Preamplis (2 of 700 mV/MeV; 2 of 1 V/MeV) none remains.
We are running with one of 300 mv/MeV.
II. problem of the decoupling capacitance - off on the anode.
Possible solution could be to put the capacitance on the acceleration grid.
Same voltages will be applied, as before.
Proposed scheme (see photograph below, of the drawing made by Thomas):

We used the Si in D6 and the TOF(CATS1-CAVIAR) to identify the beam nuclei.
Using a gate on 12Be and 11Be, we looked at the PID using Qplastic VS TOF(CATS1-CAV) and TOF(CATS1-PL).
It seems that we can separate 12Be and 11Be using these two spectras. |

The problems with the runs which could not be converted during the night was due
to a double header buffers of the runs with an odd number.
Now it affects sometimes also runs with even numbers cf 206 below.
The best is, after starting the run to check that the header is correctly read by launching Ganil_Tape on the run.
If Ganil_Tape is not working on this run, the run is corrupted and we should stop it and start a new one.
If the problem persists, then:
-the first solution is to do BREAKUP in the Run Control window; then INIT
- otherwise if the problem persists: we need to do some kill of narval processes: acqmenu --> kna, na.
Note that when the problem occurs, there is a message in the RC window about the storer see below.
??? MAYBE THE PROBLEM IS DUE TO THE NEW CONFIGURATION LOADED ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON WITH MULTI WATCHERS FOR THE RUN CONTROL:
It is the file e748_multiwatch.rcc.xml. Previously we had the e748.rcc.xml with a direct link to the storer actor.
THEN PROBLEMS OCCURRED DURING ThE NIGHT.
