After waiting for 1-2 hours. I started the BT again on T5 no tripping BT anymore. While writing hardware with DAS T5 responded well.

After starting the HT, i started a new run :

the spectrum seem OK.

In both cooling systems the levels are still good, did we refilled the 0 degree cooling system since the beginning?

The vacuum is @ 9.1e-6 in M2C and 2e-5 in 0 degree chamber.

I then left the cooling ON, but stopped both HT and BT on every telescopes.

Today, both cooling system are working fine and their levels are OK.
The vacuum are 7e-6 mbar in M2C and 2e-5 in the 0 degree chamber.

Tried unsuccessfully to change the gain on EXL energies.
Looking at the inspection lines noticed that all the EXL signals were inverted (negative) and we were coding only the pole zero part of the signals.
Looking into the manual find out how to change polarity of the signals. Did that and now the signals look normal with normal gain change after polarity change.
EXL polarity is negative so Mesytech modules have to be set to use negative input signals.

PPT HV = 650 V

This is happening when the pre-amplifiers for EXL are not alimented.. When they are alimented the EXL sigal polarity is positive.. The gains and thresholds for Mesytech modules are below

Problem :
TDC labels are 0. After the compilation of action list the labels seem to appear (if I remember correctly), but after a save/reload of the config they are gone, and in all cases no event coded (on the oscilloscope a validation point is visible, but do not know what this means in the case of a TDC – even after looking in GANIL wiki related doc).


Solution :
Solved by Fred. He made "init" at the VME MUST2MASTER in the RCC.

Normalement, les profileurs devraient voir le faisceau.
En général, la fenêtre d’entrée est de 12µm de titane et il y a une plaque d’alu de 3mm en sortie.
Donc il y a une plaque d’arrêt sur le dernier profileur.
Mais même si c’est une feuille d’inox en sortie, le faisceau ne devrait pas sortir.

After struggling with the noise, we achieved ~ 50 keV resolution.

Source = 1 alpha peak 241Am E=5.485 MeV

Detector E1D6 50 µm 25 V in principle, but set to 100 V
Detector E2D6 300 µm 70 V in principle, but set to 100 V

PA gain = 20 mV/MeV

Maximum output signal of the new PA (differential) = 8 V.
