TUNING OF 38Ca to be ready during the night, after the change of CO source at the machine between 21h and 2am (maybe).
LISE team: Omar K, Jean-Charles T. Tuning made for 38Ca at 21h for Run 162.
NB the GECO ionization configuration is ok.
Phone call by Antoine at 20h40. he asked to check that there is external trigger to run later at 10**5/s see snapshot GECOIonizationTrigger.png ok.
NB: At 21h05 Daisuke puts back the 30ns delay on the time for the TAC Tcats1 HF, to be ready for the running conditions of 38ca during the night/morning data taking. |

The 18O was very stable between 0h and 2h around I ~ 4.5 µA.
CAVIAR ~ 161k; CATS1 ~ 88kcps; CATS2~ 111kcps ; CHIO ~ 106kcps; PLASTIC ~ 105 kcps.
The dead time is between 4 and 7%.
It was slowly decreasing to 3.7µA at 2h45.
Between 2h48 and 3h we see strong fluctuations of the primary beam current I down to 3.7µA and to 0.5µA.
We call the PCP machine, they tell us that they manage to recover the beam, and that there are strong instabilities at the source.
At 3h15 the beam is stable again, around 4.2µA.

The tuning of the beam alignment was checked by the PCP. cf beam profiles at 5h15 in LISE notebook and below.
We check also the beam profiles on CATS.
The beam was at 4.2 µA increasing to 4.6 µA but we do not recover the same intensity in LISE as during the run 374.
CAVIAR now at 90kcps and CATS2 around 53kcps (at 5h25).
6h50 CAVIAR 95 kcps CATS1: 51 kcps; CATS2: 64 kcps
The transmission to LISE seems to be not as good as before.
The beam on target is de-centered both on X (X +0.4mm) and Y (Y by ~ -2.4mm)

We have put the bias again but we could not reach the nominal value of 1040V. We have set the bias at 950V.
