At about 17:15 beam suddenly stopped. PCP operators are investigating the issue.
Fixede793s Mon Mar 15 02:44:06 2021 Sarah, Louis, CharlieRUNGeneralCD2Beam returned at 02:45 and stabilised by PCP
The PCP team were not able to learn anything new about the state of the source from their diagnostic tests, but they told us that they have stabilized the beam so there should be less fluctuations. They have also opened the slits to their maximum, which now gives us 5e5 pps.
Fixede768s Mon Jul 22 08:29:19 2019 Faïrouz, Sylvain, Francois et Franck, BertrandBEAMGeneralLiFBeam profile updated
To solve the very high counting rate observed on AGATA (and on MUST2 with a lesser degree), the beam was retuned.

After inspection of the beam profile in VAMOS, Bertrand tuned the vertical steerers G1.DC21-VE (from 0.5 -> 0.0A). The consequence is a shift of 2mm in vertical position at the target position.

Everything seems back to normal.

Fixede768s Sun Jul 28 04:22:15 2019 Jenn, Andres and DanieleBEAMGeneralN/ABeam problems and DC trip
- Updated from PCP about the problem with the beam: cyclotron went down and estimation of ~5h to have the beam back.
- After the beam went down, the Drift Chambers tripped making all the other biases go down (crate problem?). We tried to recover the biases but they don't go up. We decided not to call Diego at the moment, as the beam will take long to come back. We will call him when we have more news from PCP.
- Checked the water tray of MUGAST cooling system: seems ok.
Fixede768s Sun Jul 28 14:57:26 2019 Franco & SylvainBEAMGeneralN/ABeam problems and DC trip
The HV and the vacuum in VAMOS are now recovered and back to the normal values. The water tray is 20% filled and under control. Mugast voltages and currents seem all ok.
Latest news from PCP are that they are still tuning CSS1 and CSS2. Updates concerning the beam schedule are for the moment no more optimistic than before.
