Fixed, e786s, Sun Jun 23 14:37:43 2019, Freddy, Franco and Louis, OTHER, Hardware, , Temperature error on +2.5v/t3

There is a temperature error on the +2.5 V for MUST2 Telescope. It created error message due to hv_monitor but it does not shutdown the voltage.
We modified the code in hv_monitor to not display popup message and elog message if this channel is concerned. |

- rather stable condition around 1.5 * 10^7 pps
- square detector seems to have some fluctuating trigger rate certainly due to some strips with larger noise or baseline fluctuations. |

Fixed, e775s, Thu Mar 5 17:07:40 2020, Freddy, Adrien, OTHER, General, N/A, Pedestals: summary for E775s 16x
|
Two runs are useful for pedestals after experiment:
run 190 --> normalized pedestals (nominally to 8192)
run 191 --> raw pedestals
The pedestal values read from DAS on the 18th of February were in principle loaded in GECO at the beginning of the experiment and are attached:
ped_MUVIX_sectorX.dat
The pedestals read from GECO at the end of the experiments (so used during the experiment) are also attached and are those named:
MUVIX_sectorX.txt
It would be good to check they are consistent with run 191. |

Run 30
Alpha source run for trapezoid detectors during the night with pedestals aligned and zero suppression. Cooling at 15°C.
Thresholds at 500 keV.
Run size: 1.3 G
On MUVI1:
1--> MG5 (150V)
2--> --
3--> MG3 (160V)
4--> --
On MUVI2:
5--> MG7 (120V)
6--> MG1 (140V)
7--> --
8--> --
TRIGGERS are:
GMT ch1 --> OR MUVI1
GMT ch2 --> OR MUVI2
GMT ch3 --> OR MUVI3 (nothing on it)
Plots are now represented using the correspondance map which means that it correspond to the geometrical ordering on the detector. With this representation groups of strips missing or disfunctionning on a given region of the detector is more obvious. |

|
A dipole tripped somewhere on the line, the operators put it back to value very quickly. Interruption of the beam for 2 minutes at 1h06. |
Fixed, e744s, Mon Apr 15 01:49:49 2019, Freddy, MUST2, General, N/A, CsI - low energy suppression
|
The suppression zone around the pedestals for the CsI was set to 8210 since the beginning of the experiment.
It corresponds to about 30 channels above the zero (8192). The gain for the CsI is of 40 keV/channel.
This gives an artifical threshold (visible in the dE-E) spectra for punch through event at about (30 ch * 40keV/ch = 1.2 MeV)
It is rather high and could possibly be lowered. This implies a change in the DAS which apparently has been closed since the beginning of the beam time to avoid interferences with GECO.
It has to be discussed during the day wether it is necessary/preferable or not.... |
